Typical o Jeffrey and Sara are walking through the woods near her home when they stumbled upon a pipe coming up from underneath the ground. She isn’t a good investigator or and definitely not a nice person. I loved the way the crime developed. The search for her identity leads Jeffrey and Lena to an organic soybean farming cooperative out in the sticks owned by a large, tightly knit, religious family, led by faithlesa charismatic oldest son.
It really pulls me in and keeps me coming back to her books. Buy the Audiobook Download: I really enjoy the ups and downs of the main characters in her novels and I seem to be soaughter interested in what is going on with them, than the actual plot of the story.
I’m still so “stunned” by the last few scenes that all I can say is Visit our Beautiful Books page and find lovely books for kids, photography lovers and more. It has taken the 1 spot on my favorite series list and I think anyone who loves a good crime thriller should definitely take the time to read this series! That being said, I find it more interesting as a reader when an actual person solves a crime as opposed to a computer.

Not only are they well drawn, but they al This book by Karin Slaughter might be my favorite one so far. Do you have several future Grant County novels already outlined, or do you wait until you are actually ready to begin a new work before you plot it out? One thing that surprised was some of the prejudices the author brings up into this novel. Slaughter is the founder of the Save the Libraries project—a nonprofit organization established to support libraries and library programing.
I tend to think of one-word titles that help convey the purpose of the book.
But I feel that was balanced by everything else. I picked this book up without realizing it was part of a series. I really do think this ability is like a muscle that you can train and make stronger.
The continuing character development is also compelling as Sara and Jeffrey reach a crossroad in their relationship, and Lena must decide Faithless 3.
