Kierkegaard shows that neither fratments nor speculatively can we have objective knowledge of Christianity’s truth or of its untruth. History, science, and speculative philosophy all deal with objective knowledge. It is an inevitable consequence of the objectivist conception philosophicxl truth: Johannes Climacus has so delineated the ethico-religious life that Christianity becomes an intensification of subjectivity and its pathos.
