Daily Maverick Book details Killing Kebble: I even read the acknowledgments! Nice research behind it but it would have been better if it had been moulded into a more interesting narrative. At times i felt some sympathy for the three killers until I am reminded of the fact that they bretr thugs. Mandy Wiener managed to keep me riveted to the book. The Kebble as it became known, was the most inclusive award of its kind often criticized for including a “craft” category to be judged on par with the other mediums like painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography in South Africa. I also enjoyed the mixture of interviews, tweets, reports, dialogue and court action.
Do we—as the public—overstate or understate it? I would this book to anybody who has an interest in politics in SA – her background information is excellent and I ended up seeing the people concerned in a different light.
Sorry to Mandy but I thought this book was very poorly written, edited and put together. I do think that comes across in the book. The story itself is interesting and intriguing. N’Golo Kante is growing into his more advanced midfield role with a composed boo, that gave Chelsea a victory over Kebbel Palace.

Mike The hype surrounding this book is well-earned and this talented South African author deserves the 4-star rating as of 22 May on Goodreads.
I highly recommend this book and believe that every South African should read it.
