It was the first fantasy book I read on my own. A sequel “The Leafless Forest” was published in ; however, the last part to the trilogy “The Limitless Bridge” was not released and remains unavailable.
A young boy encounters the Poisoner while in the forest, is captured, and is cut by his sword.
